Wild Communion at Awen Grove

Awen Grove 2620 Sharpes Hill Rd, Gaston

It's time for Wild Communion again!! Starting in March, we'll meet on the first Sunday of each month to gather outdoors to commune with the mystical healing gifts of nature as our Hearthkeeper, Mela Borawski, inspires us with a message while we picnic potluck together. We call this our Wild Communion and you are invited to join us each month! -------------------- LEARNING THE WATER SONG -------------------- Message: How do you protect yourself, your sanity, and your energy in the midst of chaos? Bring chairs or blankets, a potluck dish to share, and we'll meet in our ritual space under Aunty Oak. If it's chilly, we'll have a fire. Dress for the weather. If it's raining, we will meet inside Mela's home - rain or shine event. This is also family-friendly, we just ask that you watch your children as they play on the property. #picnichomily #wildcommunion

3SS | Spellcrafting Class | Love & Romance Self-Love Spell Bottle

Starting in January 2025, our third Sunday service will be a "3rd Sunday Surprise" with different activities each month. February we will have a "Spellcrafting Class" where Mela will teach about love & romance spells and magick (including ethics) and we'll craft a self-love spell bottle together. There is no cost (donations ALWAYS accepted - $5-$10 would be great for this) but you will need to bring these supplies to keep our cost down: YOU BRING THESE: - a small bottle or jar for your spell bottle / needs a lid or cork- anything you'd like to put in your bottle that's special that we may not be providing such as a photo of yourself, etc.- A refillable water bottle or drink for yourself- A snack to share (optional) WE WILL PROVIDE: - education with our Hearthkeeper Mela- Lots and lots of spellcrafting ingredients to choose from for your bottles We will be indoors in Mela's house, but if it's a nice day as usual we may spread out to the back porch. Imbolc – Feast of Lights | Potluck, Candlelit Procession & Ritual

FREE EVENT Celebrate Imbolc with a Feast of Lights! Join us for an outdoor family-style potluck meal under Aunty Oak, followed by a candlelit procession and ritual for Imbolc. • Potluck! Bring a dish (or two) to share for our feast. Imbolc is traditionally a time where feasts include cheese, eggs, milk (and non-dairy is fine too), root veggies, breads, honey, butter, warming foods --but bring whatever you like. • Community Altar - bring something to put on it! Greenwild will provide plates, utensils, napkins, and bottled water. We will also provide candles for the procession. If you'd like to bring luminaries, candles (in candleholders), lanterns or LED candles to add to our array of lights PLEASE DO! WITCHY ITEM SWAP!!We will be doing a witchy item swap again as an activity for this event. Please bring any items of a pagan, witchy, or spiritual nature that you no longer use or need, and swap for other items! This is a great way to swap out tarot or oracle decks, divination tools, ritual garb, jewelry, altar items, handmade items, wands, crystals, etc. 1 item for 1 item, so if you bring 5 items you can take home 5 items from the swap! Donations are always wonderful to support our work as a religious nonprofit in South Carolina (and beyond!) You may make a donation on our website or use our donation jar at the event.
