Queering Your Craft

Foraged Spaces 6 Clusters Ct, Columbia

This FREE community group begins in 2025 and will meet at Foraged Spaces LLC at 6 Clusters Ct, Columbia, SC (near Ollie's in between St. Andrews & Bush River). Are you a queer pagan and/or witch in the area? Would you like to come together to learn how to make your own personal path more inclusive, and be supported as you do so? Maybe you've done the work to create a more inclusive practice and want to share what you know with your community. Please join us! What do I mean when I say "Queering Your Craft"?Myself and Greenwild Spiritual Fellowship feel strongly about making language and practice more inclusive, and feel that a lot of the books and practices out in the world today are very Goddess, or God/Goddess oriented. We leave out the queer stories of the godds, and simply make do with a very binary gender view on the deities, which is reflected in our practices. How do we queer our language around deities? How do we queer our rituals, spells, practices? Let's work on this together! This community group is led by Hearthkeeper Mela Borawski, queer & polyamorous pagan witch of the Greenwild Spiritual Fellowship / Awen Grove covenstead. This is an open group, so it does not matter what your personal pagan and/or witchcraft path may be (or if you aren't sure and you are searching) as all respectful paths and folx are welcome here. We all have something to learn from each other. Mela's goal is that this becomes a monthly or bi-monthly community group, but let's see if there's interest!
