SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Witch Camp 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an immersive experience in nature communion\, spellcraft & ritual as we come together as a magickal camping village in Gaston\, SC at our Awen Grove Covenstead for the weekend! \n\nThis is a PRIMITIVE camping experience for adults (teen children allowed with a parent in attendance). We are now allowing you to come for the day\, see “Daytrippers” in the information below for cost. \n\nOur weekend will include educational & hands-on workshops\, spellcrafting\, divination sharing and engaging in community ritual together. \n\nOur theme for our Summer Solstice Witch Camp is all about WATER\, EARTH & SUNSHINE. \n\nWe will begin each morning with sun salutations & meditation. We will play\, bond\, commune and create together all weekend!\nThis is a beautiful opportunity for connecting with the land\, sky\, water and plants\, and be offered many different workshops from attendees!\n\nThere will\, as always\, be a “New Witch Basics” class on Friday with Mela. New witches or those who want a refresher will learn some basics on protection\, ethics\, altars and magickal tools to give you a foundation for the remaining time together.\n\nThere is a pool available at Awen Grove\, so please bring your swimsuits\, sunscreen and pool towels etc!

SUMMARY:Spring 2024 Witch Camp
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an immersive experience in spellcraft & ritual as we come together as a magickal camping village for the weekend! This is a PRIMITIVE camping experience for adults (teen children allowed with a parent in attendance).\nSPACE IS LIMITED\nOur weekend will include educational workshops\, spellcrafting\, herbalism instruction & plant medicine creation\, tool creation\, divination sharing and engaging in community ritual together on 8 acres of woods in Traveler’s Rest\, SC.\nEvery morning\, we will begin the day with sun salutations & meditation. We will play\, bond\, commune and create together all weekend!\nOur herbalist-in-residence\, Kasey\, will not only take us on a plant identification walk but also guide us in creating plant medicine over the campfire.\nThere will\, as always\, be a “New Witch Basics” class on Friday afternoon. New witches or those who want a refresher will learn some basics on protection\, ethics\, altars and magickal tools to give you a foundation for the remaining time together.\nWatch our discussion area for details on our crafts\, classes & rituals!\nDATES: Friday\, April 26 @ 10AM through Sunday\, April 28 @ 11AM.\nLOCATION: 20 Acre Private campground in Traveler’s Rest\, SC – Address given once you register. PRIMITIVE camping\, you will need to bring everything you need. There is a compostable toilet\, and non-potable water. No showers.\nCOST: $55 per person\nAdd A Friend for $40 to camp with you! You must be staying in the same tent for the discount and you must register for both of you at the same time.\n(Payment plan available\, but a nonrefundable $20 per person must be paid up front.)\nREGISTRATION: https://3RaysofLight.as.me/witchcamp2024\nDEADLINE: Sat\, April 6\, 2024\nSee below for more information on costs and discounts.\n•Includes 2 Community Dinners\, Firewood\, Non-Potable Water (for washing)\, Educational & DIY Workshops & ALL Materials\n•If you decide not to attend before Sat\, April 6\, you will be refunded everything except a $20 deposit. DOES NOT INCLUDE DRINKING WATER!!\nBring food that can be prepared over the fire\, or doesn’t need cooked\, to provide for your own breakfasts and lunches. Bring enough drinking water for the weekend. There are stores nearby so if you need something you can drive to a store. We will have hot water on the fire for us all weekend.\nLIMITED SPACE. WE ARE CREATING INTENTIONAL SPACE TOGETHER. Whether you are a seeker\, a new witch\, or a seasoned witch\, come together with like-minded folks for a weekend together. Space for camping is limited\, so be sure to register if you’re interested.\nCAMP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED\nPlease contact Mela at 3raysoflight@gmail.com or message her if you are interested in volunteering at the witch camp. General volunteers to help folks set up camp are needed\, as well as anyone who might want to teach a workshop\, lead a ritual\, meditation\, nature walk\, etc. There is no discount involved\, but you are invited (and encouraged) to come a day early (Thursday\, April 25).\nWITCH CAMP STAFF NEEDED\nThere are a few specific volunteer positions available that come with discounts:\n• (TAKEN) FIRE WITCH – In charge of lighting our fire in the morning\, and keeping it going through the day as we need it for meals\, etc. Please be experienced in making outdoor fires!!\n*Amber Arati\n• (TAKEN) HEARTH WITCH – In charge of our community dinners on Friday & Saturday night. Cooking & making sure we have what we need. Please be experienced in cooking over a campfire!!\n*Mandy Applegate\nOTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION\nFood Allergies or Sensitivities: Please let us know when you register if you have allergies\, sensitivities or special requests such as gluten-free or vegetarian.\nRitual attire\, witchy attire\, etc is welcome and encouraged! Be sure to check weather\, it should be nice the last weekend in April but could be chilly in the evenings. Prepare for rain\, just in case.\nBring any divination tools\, journal & pen\, altar items you wish to put on our Spring altar\, or anything else that connects you spiritually!\nBathrooms: We will have a compostable toilet on the campsite.\nUnplug From Technology: We ask that you honor the sacred space we are creating here by not bringing laptops and such with you. Cell phones are fine\, but as this is an “unplugged” retreat\, we’d rather you not be focusing your energy and attention on things you find online on your phone\, so please consider tucking them away just for emergencies or using them away from other retreatants.
